The Highland Adapts Climate Advocates Team represent communities and organisations across the Highland area. Working in partnership, the team have developed the Highland Climate Charter. The aim of the charter is to raise awareness of climate change, its impacts and to build momentum across Highland – where individuals, communities, organisations, and businesses will come together and work towards a transformational and prosperous climate ready Highland. The Highland Climate Charter was launched during the Highland Climate Festival which took place for the very first time in June 2022. We continue to ask individuals and community groups across the region to sign the charter and make a commitment to take climate action in our everyday lives.

or you can tag us on any social media at either @hiclimatehub or @highland_adapts
What if I am a Community Group?
You can sign the charter as both as individual and as a community group. Simply enter the name of your community organisation into the form and please send us an image of your board, staff, or volunteers with the charter, as we would love to feature you!
What happens to my details after signing?
We will keep your details on record as having signed the charter and will keep you updated on its progress. We really hope to gather lots of momentum with the charter and encourage as many individuals as possible to sign it and commit to climate action. This can be from getting involved with a local group, to making simpler every day actions to be more mindful about the climate and our own individual impacts.
