Welcome, Savanna Hirth!

We are thrilled to have Savanna joining Highland Adapts for the next 12 weeks through an internship supported by Zero Waste Scotland, Bright Green Business, and Sniffer.

Savanna has joined Highland Adapts as a Climate Place-Based Partnership Research Intern. She is leading a research project to evaluate partnership models, aiming to strengthen Highland Adapts’ structure and impact. Her research will contribute important insights into collaborative work on adaptation, circular economy, and more. A recent graduate of UiT- The Arctic University of Norway with a master’s in Arctic Politics, Governance, and Indigenous Studies, Savanna brings unique insights from her time living in the Arctic Circle and travels to Iceland, Greenland, and the Yukon. She is dedicated to advancing systems that enable effective climate change action in the Highlands.

We hope you will join us in warmly welcoming Savanna’s support and expertise to our partnership.
